Mega — .ns-display--mega
Build on the platform
Poster scale is a graphic element, not a heading: it sets solid (--leading-mega, 0.94), tightens to --tracking-mega, and is capped against the viewport rather than a container. The outlined line is the counter-form — present without being loud.
Gradient & scan
One signal colour, two steps of it
A two-hue gradient on text is a 2014 tell. A brand-500 → brand-800 ramp is depth, and it still flips correctly in dark mode.
Drop cap & pull-quote
Salesforce is a platform before it is a product, and the difference is the whole reason this curriculum exists. Learn the platform and every product on top of it becomes a variation you already understand.
The hairline is the structure. Everything else is negotiable.
initial-letter does the drop cap properly — three lines deep, optically aligned, no floats. The pull-quote hangs on the same 2px brand edge as every other quotation in the system.
Kinetic strip — .ns-kinetic
Two identical tracks translated 50% — the only implementation that loops without a seam. It is infinite, so it is aria-hidden and may never carry information: pause it on hover, and never put a word here the reader needs.
